In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 business apps on the Android platform in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at these apps, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 15K in late June and peaking at approximately 13.3K by the end of September. The app's active users fluctuated, beginning with around 100K and ending the quarter at nearly 109K. Notably, it recorded a minimal revenue of $1 in the final week.

Skillbee: UAE & Abroad Job App experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 10.5K at the end of June and dropping to about 7.3K by September's end. Despite this, active users showed a general upward trend, climbing from 27.8K to 33.2K mid-quarter before slightly declining to 27.3K by late September.

Microsoft Teams had a notable increase in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads started at 8.3K in late June, reaching a peak of 15.2K in late August. Active users saw significant growth, beginning at 95.5K and surging to 300K by the end of the quarter.

Google Meet (original) displayed a stable performance in weekly downloads, ranging from 6.7K to 9.4K across the quarter. Active users remained relatively consistent, starting at 56.8K and maintaining around 65.5K by the quarter's end.

MOHRE had a variable trend in downloads, starting at 6K in late June and ending at approximately 6.7K in late September. Active users showed a slight increase from 11.3K to 12K over the quarter.
